Each set includes one upper and one lower retainer.
What happens next
If you have worn your retainer in the past week and it still fitted well, we can have a new one made from your last scan, so you only need to come in for a fit appointment (payment in advance required). If not, we will need to take a new scan.
If your teeth have already moved, a new retainer will not move them back. To have them straightened again, see retreatment (private fees apply).

Request a replacement retainer
Health service (NHS) replacement retainers: Because we treat so many health service patients, we no longer have the capacity to offer these. Your regular dentist can help instead (any dentist can make Essix clear retainers; prices vary), or you can order a private replacement from us using the form below.
Is your regular dentist at Heathwood House? Your dentist is based in the same building as us, so pick this option in the form below. We will ask whether your dentist would like to make your new retainers – if so, the price will be much the same as ours. Select your retainers and the number you need (multi-buy savings included) in the form, and a member of our admin team will contact you.

Please only use this form for a retainer, which is what you wear once your fixed brace is off and treatment has ended. For a removable brace or Twin Block that’s broken or lost, fill in the Broken brace form instead.
